Description of the problemReported clicking noise to dealership when making a sharp turn while backing up at 8355 miles - dealership checked - vehicle was operating within manufactures spec. At 13313 miles reported a clunking noise when steering during slow driving and turning - dealership replaced intermediate steering and lubed. At 24008 miles reported a clicking noise again - dealership could not find anything wrong. At 27987 miles reported clicking noise again - dealership lubed all points of the steering per gm. At 36041 miles reported clicking and popping noise - dealership replaced the power steering rack. The problem never went away and the warranty had expired. I am currently at 65000 miles and the clunking noise is getting louder, it can be felt thru the steering wheel, and can now be heard outside of the vehicle. What am i to do? No one seems be able to repair this problem and there are no recalls. Since this is a steering problem, isn't this a safety hazard?
