Description of the problem	Steering assist motor shorted resulting in loss of power steering. Could have resulted in accident if i had been in a curve or turning. I have repaired it, but gm is not responding to requests for reimbursement due to warranty being up. Car has approx 40,000 miles. Car has also had leak in the fuel rail at 25,967 miles and a fuel pump short at 1,548 miles.
