Description of the problem | Sudden lose of power steering. After car starts up, power steering is present, however after vehicle is moving, sudden lose of the power steering occurs and notifications on dashboard. Gm states this is not related to nhtsa bulletin 15v064000, however it is for the same exact make, model, year, and part that is affected. The gm recall number is 14772. This is a major safety concern as i can no longer rely on the vehicle to drive as expected without knowing when the power steering will be lost. Serious potential of crash as turning may not be available while in motion. It occurs for every power up of the vehicle. Please have gm investigate that more 2006-2007 pontiac g6 vehicles with that same torque sensor be impacted by recall 14722. |
