Description of the problem	A couple of times this past year after my vehicle hit 75k miles, my steering has locked up causing me to have to pull on the wheel very hard just to make the turn which a bit of a concern. Thankfully no accident resulting from this. I have not had this problem in the last couple of months. However i have also had an issue with the brake lights. A friend who was following me advised that my brake lights were turning on even when i wasn't braking. Additionally, in july of 2013 (my vehicle was at about 70k miles) we began smelling gasoline coming from the vehicle. We took it to get the car repaired and the mechanic identified that my fuel pump was leaking gasoline and had to be completely replaced which cost about $1000. My check engine light has now come on again and i am taking it this week to get it inspected. The car jerks when moving it from park into gear, and when driving the timing seems to be off when accelerating.
