Description of the problem | Driver's side low beam headlight keeps going out due to faulty socket/wiring. Was replaced initially because factory socket melted at bulb contacts. Have replaced socket twice now, but if wires are at a certain angle going into the socket, the headlight will go out. Problem will usually present itself when turning car on, have to get out and give the headlight assembly a smack to get it to come back on. Also very limited room inside headlight assembly, leaving wiring cramped at an odd angle and in the direct path of the locking mechanism for the access cap. |
