Description of the problem	When the car is in park, the brake light will automatically come on after about 3-5 seconds without pressing the pedal. While driving, the brake lights will stay on until application of the brakes. The brake lights will then turn off when the brakes are pressed. On multiple occurrences, i have had other drivers flag me down while on the road to tell me about the problem. This issue is especially dangerous at night since the driver behind you will have no indication you are slowing down since pressing the brake turns off the brake lights. This issue has been going on for over 2 years now and is becoming unsafe to drive. I am constantly worried driving at nights because the risk for being rear ended is very high. I have seen many others having the same issue and request the nhtsa recall this issue before someone gets seriously injured or killed. Also, the car gets stuck in park after starting the car. The only way to get the car out of park is to repeatedly press the brake to unlock.
