Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2007 pontiac g6. While the vehicle was parked, the contact heard a loud clicking noise and the exterior lights flashed. Several minutes later, she saw severe smoke. The fire department was called and they concluded that electrical failure was the cause. An investigator from the manufacturer stated that they would not provide her with any assistance because she did not witness any flames coming from the vehicle. The dealer could not identify the cause of the failure. A fire report was filed. The contact has possession of the failed components, including the starter and battery.
