Description of the problem | The steering column in my 2005 g6 gt is making a horrible clunking noise when the wheel is turned either left or right, this is an ongoing problem with the pontiac g6 and it seems to be getting worse by the day, i began noticing this clunking about a month ago (june 2009) was sitting at a stop light turning wheel left and right when i noticed this noise. Nothing has been done yet to fix it and i haven't had any accidents yet, but this car has been nothing but a headache since day 1, not to mention very expensive to repair, i currently have 56,700 miles on it. I feel that this should be taken very seriously, if this part of the steering locks up at random driving it or not, who is to say someone won't be badly injured or killed. |
