Description of the problem | Nissan cvt transmission experiencing issues, being very unsafe. While driving down the road normally, the car started revving very high. After pulling over and turning the car off, then turning it back on, it continued to rev over 3,000 rpm at about 10-15 mph and never "shift" into higher gear. This has happened twice before, and turning the car off and on solved the issue. It was serviced by the dealership with new cvt fluid, but now the problem has persisted and has not gone away with shutting the vehicle off and on. It most recently happened while driving, luckily there were no other cars nearby, and i had to have the vehicle towed. |
