Description of the problemAfter driving for 20 minutes with the cruise control previously on and set and still on but not activated, i momentarily applied the brakes at approximately 45mph then lifted my foot from the brake pedal while approaching a red light that had returned green the truck began to rapidly accelerate on its own without my assistance of applying the accelerator pedal. Quickly recognizing the unintended acceleration situation i immediately applied the brakes and was able to regain control of the truck without incident. I have taken a photo of the instrument panel within a few minutes of the unintended acceleration capturing vehicle operating conditions during the incident. Very dangerous situation that could result serious injury or death. Vehicle information should be downloaded from onboard computers right away. Please identify where the download should take place.
