Description of the problem | On april 18, 2014 only 2 months after purchasing their brand new 2014 mitsubishi mirage my parents were hit head on after a person swerved into their lane. Speed was not a factor, the investigation is still under way, and we still don't know why they both died (driver with massive head trauma including a broken jaw, passenger with massive abdominal trauma.) there will be an autopsy on both vehicles, but the driver of the other vehicle walked away with a broken leg and heel. Why? I have looked long and hard at this new mitsubushi and i am wondering why their new safety system that would effectively keep them in a steel cell during an accident was compromised. |
