Description of the problem | 2008 mercury mariner hybrid no crank. Vehicle was found to have damaged high voltage wiring harness. Harness runs along underneath the passenger side of the vehicle cabin. Harness is partially encased pvc. Pvc was damaged possibly due to road hazard hitting underneath the vehicle. High voltage harness was damaged resulting in entire harness being replaced. Ford would not pay for repair. This is a serious issue and possibly a design flaw. I still have the harness in my possession and would be willing to provide it for purpose of investigation. |
