Description of the problem | Many times, either after a stop or letting my foot off the gas pedal and then trying to push the gas pedal again, the pedal would not move, and i could no longer accelarate and have been forced a few times to pull off to the side of the road until i could get it to press down. Sometimes waiting for 5+ minutes for it to work. I had someone look at it, it's the throttle body. It gets build up in it and can't compress, seems to be worse in the cooler weather (vs summer). This is a very dangerous, especially with traffice around, and i have had my kids in the car when its happened and i get nervous it'll happen in a situation that i can't prevent an accident. I have never had a problem with a throttle on any of my other cars, nor have i known anyone with this issue. |
