Description of the problemI was luckily pulling up to a stop sign and pressed the clutch and heard a loud snap. I then put it in first gear, went to shift to second and the clutch pedal was gone. I pulled over and got out and found the clutch pedal stuck behind the brake pedal. I was extremely angry afterwards realizing how dangerous this could have been. What if i was making a left hand turn and could not find the clutch?? I am also upset that mazda told me that i yes me! Had to pay $470 to get this problem that should never happen fixed. I have never heard of this ever, no matter how old a car is this should not happen!!! I cannot afford $470 to fix things like this that should never break. Please investigate this matter as i have found on rx8club. Com this is a very common issue with this car!! Unacceptable!~
