Description of the problem | The faulty oil injector releases excess oil and as a result drowns the catalytic converter and spark plugs. Because of this the car eats through spark plugs and when running at a low rpm the car will shut down which has happened on numerous occasions and in the middle of traffic. With this knowledge mazda put out a recall (4206f) to replace the spark plugs, catalytic converter, and perhaps even the engine. My car was tested and the local dealership found that it falls within the recall. Mazda headquarters isn't honoring the recall or the dealer's findings and is saying that it is a maintenance issue and will therefore not replace or repair anything. |
