Description of the problem | My 2004 mazda rx-8 catalytic converter went out twice in less than 1 year. My personal mechanics said to take it back to the dealer and that blogs on line said the engine would loose compression and the engine would go out completely. I read several complaints online about that very same thing. The dealer said they would replace the catalytic converter again. I said what about the low compression and engine failure down the road. And the service manager said that what the 100k warranty is for. I don't think that's right they should buy the car back from me. It is not dependable. It is at mazda city of orange park, fl. Phone # 904-7790600. |
