Description of the problem | My 2007 lexus is250 only has 44,000 miles. The navigation console stopped responding, and this was verified as a defect by a toyota dealership. The result is that in addition to gps and radio functions not working, the critical and life dependent features of air conditioning and heating also can't be controlled. These features are vital when living in climates that have below freezing weather in winter, and extreme heat in summer. The cost of the repair is $2900, and lexus was unwilling to pay for this repair. Clearly this is a material defect, and this is occurring to thousands of other lexus/toyota owners as noted by online comments. |
