Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2001 jeep grand cherokee. While driving approximately 30 mph and depressing the brake pedal, the steering wheel began vibrating. During acceleration, the steering wheel would vibrate uncontrollably. There were no warning indicators prior to the failure. The vehicle was immediately taken to an independent auto service and the technician stated that the piston in the braking system had locked up on the front driver's side. The front driver and passenger side rotors, pads, and calipers were replaced. The contact was very concerned of the safety risk involved. The failure mileage was 70,300 and current mileage was 70,400. |
