Description of the problem | I was driving home from work on a pleasant summer afternoon. When i went to stop in traffic my brakes failed. I pulled the emergency brake so that i could stop but i still tapped the vehicle in front of me. I had the car towed to my garage where they checked the brakes. They found that both front rotors had broke loose from the disc giving me no brakes whatsoever. I had the brakes checked only two weeks prior for wear and was told that they were good. We checked with tarbox motors to see if there was a recall on these brakes but was told that the recall only applied to the 1993 jeep grand cherokee. I feel that something should be done about this problem before someone is killed instead of being lucky like me and be doing only 20 when it happened. I |
