Description of the problem | Brake caliper failure was expressley warranted under chrysler's bumper to bumper policy, yet service threatened that if i continued complaining police would be called and i was charged $75. 00 for the 'system' test. Ase certified mechanic indicated to me that left front caliper had failed to release, thus warping the brake disc. This very mechanic told me to go back to the dealer and get it repaired for free. But passport chrysler denied any malfunction, and pointed to driver negligence as the reason for the "stuck" caliper. Transmission failure occurred after warranty, and even though tsb's were abundant regarding defectively designed transmissions, again i was not even offered any assistance to repair the defunct transmission. Gee, i guess i'll buy a car there again. *ak |
