Defect summary	Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The cable adjuster bracket nut on the outer sleeve of the throttle cable can become displaced fromthe cable abutment bracket on the engine.
Consequence summary	Should this occur, limited opening of the throttle will occur, even with the accelerator pedal fully depressed to the floor.
Corrective action	Dealers will inspect these vehicles and modify the throttle cable system.
Recall notes	Owner notification began march 16, 1998. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact jaguar at 1-800-4jaguar (1-800-452-4827), option #3.
