Description of the problem | Intermittent issues involving the braking system. 1. Brake pedal sinks slowly to floor when braking or in stop. Wheezing or chirping sound when releasing the brake pedal. 2. When braking softly, brake pedal travels about 50% before the vehicle begins slowing. 3. Issue persists the entire time the car is in use. Had several near misses with hitting vehicles and pedestrians in front. Vehicle has only 32k miles. Problem is reduced when intelligent brake assist (iba) is turned off. Mechanics advised problem with abs actuator and similar issues reported on 2014 to 2017 models. Recall must be made as son as possible as there are safety critical and other drivers experiencing same issue. |
