Description of the problem | The cvt transmission, whines super loud and slips like when your foot is down sometimes you lost power completely and wont shift right until you lift foot up and wait a while. Very dangerous if you have fast moving cars behind you and your suv craps out and stops. I took it to the bennet allenton infiniti while under warranty which expired 2 months ago and they told me a cvt tnasmission is always moving. I explained that i know the difference between an auto transmission and a cvt and how they work. This problem is not normal operating for a cvt tranny. So again in the middle of driving in traffic while accelerating normal, the pedal goes to the floor and the car stops accelerating, so you are slowing down drastically until you lift up foot and wait until it wants to catch or shift. |
