Description of the problem | Since we have purchased our car brand new in 2014 we have had ongoing problems with the passenger side airbag. Randomly, even though there is a person sitting in the passenger seat, the air bag indicator is lit "off" as if noone is sitting in the car seat. We have recorded videos of multiple events and have brought it to the dealer. Each time the dealership runs a scan it tells them that the car is operating normally. I have even dealt with infiniti directly and they are not able to come up with a fix and keep telling us to be patient because they are working on resolving this problem. We have had the car now for almost 1 1/2 years and still no good fix by infiniti. This is completely unacceptable and we feel it is a major safety issue since an airbag would not go off during an accident even though there is a passenger in the passenger seat. |
