Description of the problem | While driving on a highway (i95, speed 55 mph) the engine suddenly died, was able to pull over and restart the engine, which now made a terrible mechanic noise. Could drive off to a smaller road where the engine stalled again. Had to tow the car to the dealer, who advised that the engine needed to be changed. Two weeks later the engine was finally changed but now this time they stated that the turbos needed to be changed. The parts were, however, on back order - dealer cannot say how long before it can be repaired. After 3 weeks and many phone conversations i still do not have a car. This is after all a new (18000 miles) >50k car but apparently it was nothing but a lemon. |
