Description of the problem | While driving the car would not accelerate and the transmission was hesitating severely when pushing on the accelerator. Problem continued until the car had no power and the engine shutdown without any dashboard gauge warnings in the middle of traffic, during rush hour. I placed it in neutral prior to complete shutdown. Cut off ignition and restarted ignition and car started as normal. Tried to drive but after five minutes began to shut down again. Per the dealer defect has something to do with the fuel injection sensors. This could have been a catastrophic event. |
