Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 infiniti m37. The contact stated that the transmission hesitated and exhibited a loud bang when shifting. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and the vehicle was test driven. The dealer re-programmed the transmission control module and the engine control module. The contact stated that the vehicle performed well for a while but the failure soon recurred. The vehicle had not been taken back to the dealer. The contact spoke with the manufacturer and was told that there was a design flaw within the vehicle but a remedy was not yet available. The failure mileage was 7,473 and the current mileage was unknown. |
