Description of the problem	Tlthe contact owns a 2006 infiniti g35 sedan. While driving approximately 25 mph, the vehicle accelerated inadvertently. The driver swerved and crashed into a tree. The driver sustained major injuries to her ribs, sternum, and had stitches in her knee. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to a junk yard. An automotive engineer inspected the vehicle and informed the contact that there was substantial front end damage, including the engine compartment, caused by the failure of the electronic throttle control system.
