Description of the problem	The third brake light on the rear deck has failed for no apparent reason. The car will not pass inspection. They want several hundred dollars to replace the entire unit. I have researched online and found this is a voluminous problem for this model year. It was recalled and addressed by infiniti for the 2003 model year g and it is still a problem for the 2004 year. This needs to be recalled and fixed accordingly at the manufacturer cost. All these owners are not having the same failing issues without cause. I own two 2004 infiniti g35 sedans. I used to love both of them. This one has problems with the brake light and now the airbag light is mysteriously blinking for no reason! The other one has had issues for years with being able to put gas in and i have had problems at the gas station trying to fill the car! Ridiculous! If infiniti doesn't do something ... I'll be switching makers. This one listed also has fuel presure regulator/damper failures ... While my other '04 g (with over 200,000 miles on it) has none. Explain that. I live the real ... Between two of the same model year. Fix the problems infiniti!
