Description of the problem | Infiniti issued a notification that the radiator fan motor may become inoperable, which may cause the engine coolant temperature to rise. In this case the engine protection logic will limit the vehicle speed to prevent any damage to the engine. I contend that this is a safety issue. Should this failure occur, the car may be required to be driven many miles in traffic at a reduced speed. This in itself is a safety issue. |
