Description of the problem | 2006 infiniti g35 coupe & sedan other models may be affected, and from research there is. Hydraulic clutch fluid boils and contaminates similar to gm problem. This results in the clutch not coming up from the floor all the way. I've searched a lot on the internet seems to be a common problem and as of right now inifiniti claims no knowledge (allegedly). The clutch uses dot3 brake fluid which is being contaminated and turning brown resulting in clutch problem. The fluid is somehow being overheated. It seems replacing the fluid and using dot4 might render a fix. |
