Description of the problem | Clutch on vehicle 2006 g35 coupe with 19,300 miles went bad. Read online and researched and found that under 20,000 miles is very low for this to be happening under "normal wear and tear" conditions. Dealership was not willing to cover 4yr - 60,000 mile factory warranty, and was told this was considered normal wear and tear similar to brake pads!! Clutch?... Brake pads? Same?!?! They would only cover if part was found to be defective. Had to order replacement parts that were tested to be more durable than oem version of clutch. Seems to happen often in this model car and very early on in the vehicles life. |
