Description of the problem | The auto a/c pops on all by itself, disabling the entire dashboard controls. The radio lights and buttons no longer work, the fan or temperature cannot be adjusted, and the defrosters cannot be used. The dealership concluded that the entire radio needs to be replaced, a problem that is so common on these cars that the rebuilt radio part to fix it is often backordered. Once again it appears that good 'ol infiniti/nissan has issued an inferior tsb for the problem that does not include the scope of vins affected by this problem. So if you don't die from your defective crank shaft sensor stalling you out at 65mph, be sure to watch out from crashing from the fog on your windshield because your defroster won't work. |
