Description of the problem | The airbag was recalled on may 23, 2016 due to the takata defective airbags. Till today infiniti has failed to provide a replacement for the defective airbag citing no available parts. Their advice is only not to sit in the seat where the defective airbag is present which is not an acceptable solution. I am not sure how much longer i need to wait or if they are just playing the waiting game for my car to be retired before they need to do work on it. |
