Description of the problem | My 2006 infiniti dashboard started to develop bubbles approximately 4 years ago. They have progressively gotten worse over time. I just found out that infiniti extended the warranty to 8 years but i was never notified by them or the local dealership. In essence they were hiding the fact that they offered a no charge fix. This is a manufacturing problem that could affect the deployment of the passenger airbag since that is the area involved. My warranty expired 6 months ago and since i was never notified i am now left to pay for the fix on my own. Infiniti usa and my local dealership are unwilling to cover the expense of the repair. |
