Description of the problem | I was pulling into my garage traveling at low speeds when the steering wheel pulled out nearly separating from the steering column. Ball bearings fell from the steering column and the clock spring cable unraveled. This caused the stability control to kick on and turn the car violently towards the curb. I was able to park the car safely. I contacted the local infiniti dealer, but as i am located overseas in korea, the dealership refused to work on a us spec car. I checked with two other nearby dealerships and both said they refused to work on us spec infinitis. I was forced to order parts online and tow the car to a local repair shop to have the repairs completed. |
