Description of the problem	After having the oil changed, at the infiniti dealer, on the way home my son noticed the steering wheel was very loose. After arriving at home the steering wheel and part of the column actually separated from the steering column. When separated there is no way to steer the car! This could have happened while driving but luckily did not. This seems to be a serious issue that should be looked into. The dealer, harper infiniti, said they did not work on the steering while the car was in for service earlier that day. .. Updated 07/01/14 *bf according to the service invoice, the steering shaft was near failure. The steering column and shaft were replaced. Updated 07/24/24
