Description of the problem | Intermittent acceleration or stalling while stationary or in motion during normal driving conditions on roads or parking lots. The problem occurs when accelerating the vehicle over accelerates or attempts to stall. This has occurred often with startling results. Have been told by two hyundai dealers service departments that this is caused by the "double shift transmission" and that although hyundai is aware, there is no fix to the problem -- that i just have to get use to it! Unanticipated acceleration and/or stalling is a safety concern that should not be tolerated. This has occurred many times since i have owned this vehicle from december 2015 with the most recent date indicated below. |
