Description of the problem | On july 12, 2019, i was driving to my home at approximately 10:00 in the evening. I was approximately two miles from my house when my engine seized and the car stopped in the middle of a very dangerous intersection. I am very grateful that, thanks to my father and a good samaritan, i was able to get my car out of the street and i was able to get home. This could have been disastrous. I have since been told by an authorized hyundai mechanic that my engine needs to be replaced. Considering the car only has 86,000 miles and all routine maintenance has been performed and no mechanic has ever said this was a potential issue before, i find this to be unacceptable. |
