Description of the problem | At around 80,000 miles a brake line ruptured while my wife was braking to avoid a truck that had cut in front of her. The brake pedal went to the floor and the entire brake system subsequently failed. The tucson eventually came to a stop. The driver's front brake line had ruptured. The vehicle had to be towed to a qualified mechanic. We've now replaced all the brake lines however now the brake pedal is spongy and does not stop as well. |
