Description of the problem | Third hyundai my husband and i have owned and on all three the rear brakes have been sticking, heating up and eating up the brakes. Had the dealership do a brake inspection per hyundai's request, which the report shows the wear shows that it is not normal wear. Spoke to the women handling the case that was opened. The reply from hyundai was that the brakes were not under warranty (which i knew) and that at 7,000 mile the car should have been brought in for the caliper maintenance. This tell me that hyundai is not greasing the calipers during manufacturing and is up to the consumer to pay. I will never suggest to anyone to buy a hyundai. As far as i am concerned it is a safety hazard and consumers should not have to pay for a manufacturing defect. Also please not this problem has happened to all three of the hyundai's my family has owned. |
