Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2006 hyundai tucson. The contact stated that after having the vehicle serviced under nhtsa campaign i. D. Number 06v445000 ( air bags:frontal:driver side inflator module) the air bag warning light continued to illuminated. The contact took the vehicle back to the dealer for a diagnostic test and the dealer advised that the seat belt caused the air bag light to illuminate and the seat belt needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 62,000. Updated 07/02/12 *bf the consumer stated after the recall was supposedly fixed, the air bag light illuminated again. Updated 07/05/12 |
