Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2005 hyundai tucson. While driving approximately 25 mph and applying pressure to the brakes, the vehicle stalled without warning and then restarted itself immediately. Three months later, the vehicle stalled again. The dealer stated that they would not inspect the vehicle unless the engine light illuminated on the instrument panel. The failure occurred intermittently. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure, but stated that the air intake hose was possibly causing the failure. They replaced the band clamps. Soon after the repair, the failure recurred. The contact filed a formal complaint with the manufacturer. The failure mileage was 7,500 and current mileage was 45,000. Updated 06/09/08 *bf |
