Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2005 hyundai tucson. While driving 15 mph in rainy conditions, the brakes lock up when they are applied and the vehicle skids. The vehicle also skids when driving over a bump in the road. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they stated that it needed an updated program in its computer system. They performed the upgrade, but the failure is still present. He called the manufacturer, but they refused to make any other types of repair. The contact believes that a recall should be issued because it appears to be a manufacturer defect. The failure mileage was 100 and current mileage was 60,000. |
