The dealer stated that the windshield delaminated, which meant that the glass was no longer able to hold the mirror in place. The insurance company had to replace the entire windshield. The contact believes there is a defect in the windshield because the vehicle was hardly in any heat and no objects struck the windshield. The current and failure mileages were 115,000.
