Description of the problem | While driving the driver's side sun visor dropped down and dangled obstructing my view. It was held on only by the wires to the mirror lamp. It appears the plastic retaining tip on the visor mounting arm broke off (it is separated but still threaded through the mirror lamp wire). I was about to replace the entire visor ($174. 00) as there is no option to replace the individual retaining assembly. However, yesterday the passenger side visor broke in the same manner. Hyundai was contacted, issued me a case number but said there is no recall and i should get with the dealer. |
