 Description of the problemTl* the contact owns a 2009 hyundai elantra. The contact stated that while driving 2 mph the vehicle accelerated independently. The contact hit a concrete wall resulting in $4,227. 40 in damages. It was the third time it happened this year. The failure recurred whenever the contact would attempt to park the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the throttle body was filling up with gasoline causing the surge. The mechanic stated that the accelerator needed to be replaced.
