Description of the problem	Steering column problem started 2 weeks ago. Every time that you steer or move the steering wheel a knocking sound resonates from the power steering column. I have checked if i was having a problem with the tie rod ends but both are fine. I trace back the problem going from the firewall heading towards up and i have isolated the sound coming form the electronic power steering (eps) motor just right above the universal joint. The steering once seize to operate when park but i have not duplicated it yet since that incidence. No codes have reflected on the dashboard. This is a vehicle being driven by a senior adult woman.
