Description of the problem | My teenage daughter nearly got into an accident when the power steering completely stopped working while she was driving. We see that hyundai has had recalls on the torque sensor/steering column but informed us that our car was not covered under recall. Hyundai advised our hyundai dealership to completely replace electric power steering column and eps column in order to insure safe driving. This cost us $2,260. 75 on a car with only 28,000 miles. We cannot believe that hyundai is not standing by its product and only doing "selective recall". We avoided a very serious accident which would have resulted in dire consequences for hyundai. Please help us expand this recall and recoup some of our expense. We will never purchase another hyundai. A company that manufacturers and sells dangerous vehicles should not be allowed to continue. |
