Description of the problem | I bought a new 2016 honda odyssey with continental contiprocontacts p235/65/r17 that came on the vehicle when purchased. I have 14,537 mile on them when passenger rear tire completely blew out both inner and outer side walls going approx. 35mph on city street with 64 degree outside air temp. I have never seen a tire do such a thing. I would never use these tires again. I feel that these tires jeopardize my families safety. The issue is not honda it with continental as they did not stand behind their product stating that i didn't have road hazard insurance which is a scam in its self. Tell me why i need to purchase additional insurance because they manufacture poor quality products. I have never had problems in my 30 years of driving will stay with michelin. |
